REV. DR. HUGHES OLIPHANT OLD is the John H. Leith Professor of Reformed Theology and Worship at Erskine Theological Seminary and Dean of the Institute for Reformed Worship. He is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary and has studied at the University of Tübingen, the Protestant Theological Faculty of Paris, the Institute Catholique of Paris, and the University of Basel. He completed a D. théol. at the University of Neuchâtel and was appointed a member of the Center of Theological Inquiry in Princeton, New Jersey. His 18 years of pastoral ministry in two churches, combined with meticulous research, has informed his proli5 cpublishing. Included among his many works are Worship: Reformed According to Scripture, The Patristic Roots of Reformed Worship, The Shaping of the Reformed Baptismal Rite in the Sixteenth Century, and Leading in Prayer: A Workbook for Ministers. Recently published was the last of seven volumes on The Reading and Preaching of the Scriptures in the Worship of the Christian Church. |

REV. DR. TERRY JOHNSON is the Senior Minister of the historic Independent Presbyterian Church in Savannah, Georgia, in which capacity he has served since 1987. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California, Trinity College Bristol, UK, Gordon-Conwell Seminary, and Erskine Theological Seminary in conjunction with the Institute of Reformed Worship. In 1993 Dr. Johnson was named the convener and then chairman of the General Assembly’s committee on Psalm-singing (PCA). Among the fruit of their labors was the Trinity Psalter, of which he was the editor and compiler. He has also published many books and articles on worship including Leading in Worship, a source-book for Presbyterian ministers; The Pastor’s Public Ministry; The Family Worship Book, a resource book for family devotions; Reformed Worship:Worship that Is According to Scripture; The Case for Traditional Protestantism, and a chapter “The Ebb and Flow of Lectio Continua Bible Reading in the English-Speaking Reformed Churches, 1539-2000,” in The Hope Ful5 lled: Essays in Honor of O. Palmer Robertson. |

REV. DR. JON D. PAYNE has served as the minister of Grace Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Douglasville, GA. since 2003. In addition, Payne is a visiting lecturer in Practical Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Atlanta, teaching homiletics. He is a graduate of Clemson University, Reformed Theological Seminary, and the University of Edinburgh, New College. Dr. Payne has authored two books and several articles on Reformed worship including, John Owen On The Lord’s Supper (Edinburgh: Banner of Truth, 2004) and In The Splendor of Holiness: Rediscovering the Beauty of Reformed Worship for the 21st Century (White Hall: Tolle Lege Press, 2008), and “Kingdom Worship on Kingly Terms” in the 2009 Nov./Dec. issue of Modern Reformation. |

REV. DR. MARK ROSS is Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at the Columbia campus of Erskine Theological Seminary and Director of the Institute for Reformed Worship. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh (B.A.), the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and the University of Keele in England (Ph.D.). From 2003- 2008 he chaired the Special Committee on Worship in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, which produced The Directory of Public Worship adopted by the church in 2008. Dr. Ross is the author of Let’s Study Matthew, “Improving the Means of Grace: The Larger Catechism on Spiritual Growth” (The Westminster Confession Into the 21st Century), and co-author with Philip Rollinson of The Children’s Catechism: A New Modern Version. |

DR. PAUL S. JONES is the Organist and Music Director at the historic Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has been serving in this position since 1997. A graduate of Philadelphia Biblical University (B.Mus.; B.S. Bible) and Indiana University (M.M., D.M.), Dr. Jones has written many choral, hymn, and Psalm arrangements. In addition to having written various articles on the Church and her music, he is also the author of Singing and Making Music: Issues in Church Music Today (Philipsburg, NJ: P&R, 2006) and Hymns For A Modern Reformation (2000), a collection of Reformation hymns co-authored with the late James Montgomery Boice (1938-2000). |

HALL is Senior Pastor of the historic Midway Presbyterian Church outside of Atlanta, GA, the general editor of the Calvin 500 series (P&R), and the executive director of Calvin 500, the Quincentenary Conference and Commemorative Tour that celebrates the life and work of John Calvin. He received his Ph.D. in Christian intellectual thought from White5 eld Theological Seminary.
